Labs will be held at our Philadelphia and Lansdale sites, with a Delaware County location pending future availability. Students will select their preferred training site and will be assigned a specific lab day accordingly.
The all-inclusive tuition is $2,000.00, which covers the Student software, e-textbook, uniform shirt, AHA CPR certification, and EVOC certification. A nonrefundable $300.00 registration and administration fee is required once the course is finalized. Payment plans are available, and we accept checks and major credit cards (Visa/MasterCard). EMS agency affiliation is not required to enroll. However, applicants with a positive criminal history should be aware that EMT certification eligibility is determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of EMS, and completion of this program does not guarantee certification.
This course requires a minimum number of students to run and has a maximum enrollment limit. If the minimum is not met, the course may be canceled, and students will have the option to transfer to another session or receive a refund. Once maximum capacity is reached, registration will be closed. Students must attend all scheduled sessions, as missed class time is not permitted, and they must also complete clinical shifts outside of regular class hours. Because this is an e-textbook-based course, reliable internet and computer access are mandatory.
To enroll, students must provide a Pennsylvania State Background Check and Child Abuse Clearance, both dated within one year of registration. A current flu vaccine is also required for clinical participation.
Upon completion of the program, students must pass the Pennsylvania Department of Health Psychomotor Exam and the NREMT Cognitive Exam in order to become certified. The cognitive exam is not included in tuition and is taken at an approved Pearson VUE testing site. Students must be at least 16 years of age at the time of state testing.
Full tuition is due at least two weeks before the course start date unless a payment plan has been arranged. If an organization is covering a student’s tuition, the student must submit the sponsor’s name, email, organization name, and mailing address so an invoice can be issued. Students who cancel with less than 14 days’ notice or fail to attend will be charged the full tuition amount to the credit card on file. Students who are dismissed or who voluntarily withdraw from the course are not eligible for a refund.
This hybrid EMT course is one of the region’s most accessible and professionally delivered training programs. Apply today to reserve your seat for the September 8th start—space is limited and fills quickly!
